Duties:

*Responsible for support of all hardware/software
*Requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, support and documentation
*Technical design and support for POS systems and Shortcuts
*Liaison between IT and business users
*Help develop cost effective supportable solutions
*Develop project cost and benefits estimates
*Build and maintain relationships with key vendors
*Negotiates pricing, terms and conditions with vendors
*Evaluate new technologies to solve business requirements
*24/7 support for application and infrastructure areas

Requirements:

*BS Degree
*7+ years IT experience
*Knowledge of MS-SQL 2000/2005, Windows XP, Windows 2000/2003, Windows Mobile, MS Office 2007, Windows Scripting
*Avalanche experience a plus
*Excellent communication and documentation skills
*Must come from a retail background
