DescriptionVMware View Engineer Job Description:

TEKsystems is currently recruiting a VMware View Engineer for a 3-6 month contract (possible extension) for a client in the Downers Grove, IL area.


This person will be working on a team of 2 Engineers who are responsible for the design and implementation of the virtual environment. The next step of this project will be implementing VMware View to virtualize the desktops and POS systems at various retail locations. This project will also entail planning and deployment upgrades associated with the implementation. This project will be virtualizing the servers, desktops and the hosted environment at retail locations.


Requirements

* 5-7 years of professional experience in a VMware Architecture/Engineering role

* Working experience with implementations of VMware View/VDI

* VCP Certification is also preferred but not required
