SHORT SCOOP:


Degreed with 3+ years sales and manufacturing exp. Ideal candidate has called on hardware stores, farm co-ops and distributors.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to travel about 75% of time.

BA or BS required.

Minimum 3 years experience in sales and manufacturing.

Experience maintaining existing accounts and cultivating new business

Good verbal and written communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Ideal candidate has called on hardware stores, farm co-ops, consumer home improvement retailers and their distributors.


Specific experience selling building materials and fencing a plus.

Meeting established profit margin expectations on sales accounts.

Fixing expenses as a marginal share of sales.

Acumen for tracking changing market conditions and reporting findings.

Persistent attitude following up on commodity product sales

Demonstrating product features and training customers when necessary.

Expertise with merchandising, plan-o-gramming and P-O-P materials desired.
