Are you a Marketing Manager with at least 4 years experience in Children's Book Publishing?


What you'll be doing:


- You'll be responsible for creating and implementing marketing campaigns to build sales, increase profitability and enhance the visibility of our Children's and Young Adult Books in the market place

- Conceptualizing, creating, leading and implementing marketing campaigns/timelines/budgets for children's and YA lists

- Working with the sales department to collaborate on account presentations (create materials, key selling points)

- Presenting marketing plans at sales conferences

- Creating WEB presence (build landing pages & Web content)

- Planning (and follow-through) of direct marketing to libraries, booksellers, teachers (Aweber, ConstantContact) - e-blasts, special e-newsletter announcements, contests/gimmicks

- Building & implementing creative marketing campaigns - contests, partnerships, activities, gimmicks

- Establishing and developing relationships with key people in children's publishing (organizations, retail, library)

- Collaborate with publicity on planning and executing author tours

- Manage award submissions

- Additional responsibilities may include conceptualization of marketing campaigns and promotions for our adult list.


What you'll need:


- 4-5 years prior marketing experience required, preferably within children's book publishing.

- High energy

- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills

- Creative thinking abilities.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional personnel, and strong communication & leadership skills
