Facility Description:PediaStaff is a full-service pediatric and school-based therapy staffing and recruitment company, placing pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists (Speech Therapists, SLP, ST), Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapists (OT) and Assistants.

Position Description:EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS....


Our client is a school system in the vicinity of Palatine and Arlington Heights, IL. They are in need of (2) OTs for the 2008-2009 School Year. This position is a contract position that very well could go into future years as well! The district serves kids K-8 and the caseload consists of students with cognitive disorders and others with LDD issues.



Qualifications: Must have an Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and hold a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.


PAY RANGE: $33 - $48 an hour, per diem paid where applicable, Completion Bonus, PTO, Company assisted Health Insurance, Relocation Assistance!

Position Comments:School Based: Most school based contracts are for the entire school year, or what is remaining in the school year. Full time therapists work approximately 35-40 hours per week. Our contracts are full and part time. Therapists are paid as W-2 regular employees. Outbound travel and perm diem available per IRS eligibility.


Travel/Contract: Contract positions in clinical settings are generally 13 weeks or more. Per diem and outbound travel provided where IRS eligibility applies.


Permanent positions are part time and full time. PediaStaff places candidates on a permanent basis in hospitals, clinics, school systems and home health agencies.

Experience Required:Must have a BS or MS Degree in Occupational Therapy. New Graduates welcome to apply Orientation and on-going clinical support provided.
Compensation:Salary is Negotiable depending on geography and whether position is permanent or contract
