Position Description:CareFocus Companion Services is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA) and Caregivers to provide homecare services to patients in Chicago, IL and the surrounding areas. At this time, all shifts are available seven days per week on a Part Time schedule. Maxim encourages all CNAs, HHAs, and Caregivers who have at least one year of prior Healthcare experience to apply. We are seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA or nurse aides, orderlies, patient care technicians, home health aides) to work within our clients' homes providing support with daily living tasks, and personal care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Our qualified Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) work closely with patients and are responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming, and feeding. Maxim CNAs ensure our patients receive essential social and emotional support and provide vital information on patient conditions to nurses.


We are also seeking compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to work within our clients' homes providing support with daily living tasks, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Our qualified Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) work closely with patients and are responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming, and feeding. Maxim CHHAs ensure our patients receive essential social and emotional support and provide vital information on patient conditions to nurses.


Furthermore, we are searching for compassionate Caregivers to work within our clients' homes providing support with daily living tasks that may include any of the following duties:


- Meal preparation

- Medication reminders


- Light housekeeping

- Assisting with mobility


- Escorting to appointments

- Assisting with personal care


- Other duties as assigned
Experience Required:CNA Qualifications


- Current, unencumbered state certification to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

- Minimum one (1) year of CNA experience required, based on state requirements, with home health experience preferred

- Current CPR certification, based on state requirements

- Copy of updated Physical, based on state requirements

- Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray

- Reliable transportation



CHHA Qualifications


- Current, unencumbered state certification to practice as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

- Minimum one (1) year of CHHA experience required, based on state requirements.

- Current CPR certification, based on state requirements

- Copy of updated Physical, based on state requirements

- Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray

- Reliable transportation


Caregiver Qualifications


- One (1) year of professional experience working as a Caregiver

- Two (2) professional references

- CPR certification required

- Documentation of current TB Test

- Reliable Transportation
