Thoroughbred - Large - Adult - Male - Horse - Private Wager (aka

Wager is a 6 year old, 16.1 hand Thoroughbred gelding. Wager came to the ILEHC in February after sustaining a fracture to his right front cannon bone during his last race in November of 2008. Wager has been through an extensive rehabilitation program which included several months of stall rest, followed by 8 weeks of hand-walking, and an eventual return to daily turnout. The latest word from our vet is that Wager's fracture has completely healed and the old injury should not place any limitations on career options for this lovely horse. So, this is GREAT news for hunter/jumper, dressage, and sport horse enthusiasts. Wager has a great mind, great manners, excellent conformation, and is a pleasure to work with. He is going to make someone a wonderful partner. Great horses like Wager usually don't last long once they become available, so if you're looking for that perfect sporthorse partner, you might want to send in your adoption application right away!
