Minimize your accent. The opening of the mouth, shape of the lips and position of the tongue is the key to minimizing your accent. We also concentrate on correct syllable stress, American English inflection patterns, and supplying a word or words that have the same meaning and are easier for you to say.
Collect a list of words and phrases you are asked to repeat, ask friends and colleagues to write words they have trouble understanding when you speak.
