Duties:

* Manage, document, evaluate and ensure compliance of the Technical Architecture
* Document changes, lead technology life cycle, evaluate new and emerging technologies and make recommendations
* Assist in the evaluation of vendor supplied application development proposals
* Provide technical roadmap for technology implementations
* Establish policies, procedures and standards
* Understand and apply application/integration architectures
* Define technology life cycles and develop process standards

Requirements:

* BS or MBA required
* 5+ years experience related to development, implementation and maintenance of a technical architecture
* In-depth understanding of SOA or SOI including Web services
* Knowledge of J2EE platform, reuse strategies, enterprise wide components and messaging technologies
* Should be familiar with operating systems (Solaris, Linux, Cisco IOS, MS Windows 2000, XP)
* Familiarity with the following: BEA Weblogic, Apache, JBoss, SunFire Servers, HP/Compaq Servers, Cisco routers/switches, Tibco, Veritas NetBackup, Veritas Cluster Server, Java, C, UML 2.0, Oracle 9i, Oracle RAC, MS SQL Server, MS Access, Visio 2002, Star Office, MS Office
* Demonstrated experience in full life cycle development and architecture
