The Sr. ETL Developer/Programmer is responsible to perform the requirements gathering, design, construction, testing and maintenance for global data transformations and data loading.


This will include:

Provide technical support to meet the application service level agreements by providing daily support to technical support and end users as required; Design and develop or modify ETL processes that load data for the Datawarehouse users or for Web applications using Informatica; Follow the change management process to resolve application defects or to implement development enhancements; Provide assistance with ETL standards and design for future supportability and ease of enhancements; Assist with the creation of reusable components as they relate to the ETL framework; Assist with the management of ETL scalability and system management; Take ownership for any issue and work to reach resolution and prevent similar issues from recurring; Lead ETL projects by providing accurate estimates, collecting requirements, developing timelines and work management; Provide assistance with ETL design, development, and performance tuning; Provide level-3 production support for Datawarehouse jobs on a rotational basis; Design and architect ETL solutions as part of a cross-functional team; and Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them, often under tight deadlines.



Required Skills:


-Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field of study; Master's degree highly desired.

-Must also have at least 5 years of data transformation experience working with Advanced Informatica (8.x or higher), Datawarehouse - star schema, data modelling, Unix Shell Scripting, advanced SQL, and stored procedures.


Desired technical skills include:

TCP/IP Networking, FTP protocols, MS Office, Relational database (Oracle), Informatica Administration, PowerCenter Real Time, PowerCenter WebServices.


-Strong skills needed in the following competencies:

Problem solving & analysis, Time management, Prioritization and task management, verbal & written communications skills, and team effectiveness.
