The Principal Engineer reporting is a proven leader in the computer industry and will focus on working with existing Information Technology groups to help expand the company's efforts in the areas of parallel and high-performance computing technology.

Position Responsibilities

Support process improvement efforts by providing specific, high-level and extensive technical expertise in SAP Basis area including SAP R/3 and SAP portal.

Production Support and Project support in the SAP Basis area for the entire SAP landscape.

Architect Solutions/Landscapes as it relates to SAP environments.

Develop and implement project objectives and estimates.

Assist with performance evaluation of alternatives and assessment of risks and costs.

Ensure SAP systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures as they apply to the implementation and specification for information technology solutions.

Qualifications:

* Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other equivalent analytical or technical disciplines is preferred. 10+ years of Information Technology experience is required.
* Has published a variety of computing issue documents on computer science, information science, information technology, or a related informatics disciplines from an accredited academic institution or publication.
* Professional designation/certification preferred - at least of the following certifications or equivalent: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), CISCO, and Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
* Strong troubleshooting experience and an understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts.
* Must be detail-oriented, resourceful, flexible, and able to work independently. Familiarity with complex automated system and project management life cycle practices/tools.
