Large client in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Java Developer to design, develop and support various applications.


Consultant will provide full life-cycle web application development services in support of the Service-Orientated Architecture, Enterprise Application Integration and E-Commerce initiatives. Will be responsible for the development, testing and documentation of the enterprise security framework. Lead structured walk-throughs to ensure effective communication of technical designs and solutions.


This position requires 10+ years of full life-cycle Object Oriented development in an N-tier environment. Qualified candidates need to have experience developing, designing and supporting Enterprise Applications. Must have experience with the following: J2EE, SOA, HTML, Struts, Hibernate, EJB, RAD, JSF, Spring, relational data base, UML or Rational Rose, expertise in design patterns (pref. MVC-Model View Controller). Experience with: SOA, Websphere or WebLogic, Development in a Unix/AIX environment, High transaction processing, 7+ years experience in an N-Tier OOP/OO environment is a Plus.


This is 12 month contract opportunity with our client with a strong possibility to be extended beyond 2010. Client is seeking local candidates only at this time.
