Duties:

* Defines system scope and objectives
* Participates as high level technical expert in design, development, coding, testing and debugging new and existing software
* Prepare detailed specifications
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues
* Develop custom solutions including script automation programs

Requirements:

* Software development and integration on Unix/Linux platforms
* Good knowledge of C/C++ or Java with some Scripting (Python, Perl or Unix Shell)
* Experience in the development of resource management systems preferably storage or computing resources
* Knowledge of security principles
* Integration, testing and troubleshooting of highly distributed systems
* Experience with development/integration and/or operations/support of large distributed storage infrastructures
* Familiarity with Grid Middleware Systems, such as Condor or the Globus Toolkit is a plus
