TEKsystems currently has a contract opening in the western suburbs of Chicago for a QA Lead Tester. This candidate must have held lead testing responsibilities on a previous project and be comfortable with testers reporting to them. The position is located near the Downers Grove area and we are looking for someone that is immediately available for a project.


For this specific project experience with the Compuware tool set is REQUIRED. Specifically, experience with Optimal Trace is a must. All candidates must have this experience to be considered for the position. In addition, the following will be day to day job responsibilities:


- Strong application testing with Compuware tool set with knowledge of Optimal Trace or the older version, Reconcile.

- Functional, UAT and systems integration testing both manual and automated.

- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in QA Testing environment.

- XML experience is a plus

- Experience in creating technical requirements and scripts.

- Candidates must be local and have excellent communication skills

- A four year degree is required
