Our client, a leader in their industry, is seeking a Sr. SQL Server Developer for a 6 month contract-to-hire position.


The client is specifically seeking a SQL Server Developer with 5+ years of experience. Experience with SQL Server 2000/2005 (2008 is a plus), T-SQL, DTS, and SSIS is required.


This person will create and enhance DTS Packages in a SQL Server 2000 environment. They will also be responsible for the migration to SQL Server 2008 and SSIS next year. Typical duties include writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and extracting and manipulating data. They will be working on a team of 2-3 people, but is expected to be able to work independently with very little learning curve.


All candidates must be willing to work on a W-2 basis and start an assignment within 1-2 weeks of an interview. Qualified candidates should respond to this posting with an MS Word copy of their resume and a brief description of why their background matches the specific need of our client.
