Prestigious Fortune 500 Company is currently seeking a Microsoft Commerce Server Platform Architect. Candidate will be part of the team responsible for the architecture and integration of enterprise Web technologies such as CMS, eCommerce, enterprise search and social media.


Responsibilities:

- Managing the scope and architecture the Microsoft Web Technologies

- Managing the scope, implementation and delivery of the integration between the components of the Web Technologies and numerous third party systems including Content Management Systems, Ad Networks, eCommerce and Social Media

REQUIREMENTS:


This role requires excellent communication skills along with a willingness to travel from time-to-time (up to 50% to the Chicago area).

Qualifications:

*Minimum of 8 years experience in the field of software development
*Minimum of 5 years directly architecting Microsoft-based enterprise Web platform large scale implementations including Microsoft Commerce Server 2007/09 and MOSS integration expertise.
*Minimum of 3 years experience leading the design and development of marketing public facing Websites on a Microsoft-based platform

Professional Skill Requirements:

*Experience working with creative agencies
*Detailed understanding of Web analytics
*Strong familiarity with Web 2.0 technologies such as social media, personalization and behavioral targeting
*Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to explain new and complex technology to non-technical business stakeholders
*Critical thinking skills to break down complex issues and identify potential solutions
*Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
