One of SGA's major financial clients is looking for an iSeries System Administrator for a long-term consulting role in Chicago, IL. This person will handle iSeries system administration , CL programming (Java, C, Cobol knowledge is a plus) , iSeries network support and configuration , a pplication support for Financial Trading Application , i ncident Management for Production Order Management System , f ollow up with developers and FIX connectivity team on Incidents , i nterface with support teams for partner apps , i nterface with infrastructure support group for all hardware and OS issues , o ccasional software change management administration and support , and p roject work as assigned


Required Skills:


Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience

Minimum 3 years of iSeries system administration

Advanced CL Programming experience

Demonstrable iSeries SQL expertise

High level language programming background a plus.

Any change management administration experience is a plus

Demonstrable iSeries performance and capacity management understanding

Minimum 1 year iSeries MQM administration

Working knowledge of iSeries networking concepts, specifically TCP/IP configurations

Experience with complex Financial Order Management Systems, or Trading technology a plus
