One of SGA's major financial clients is looking for a Developer for a long-term consulting role in Chicago, IL. Candidate must have a m inimum of 5-8 years experience as a Software Developer , e xperience in .NET C#, OO design and analysis, UML experience required , c urrent knowledge of Web application and smart client developmen't, and e xperience using design patterns. Should also have p roven systems analysis, programming and problem solving capabilities , s trong diagnostic capabilities required , e xperience completing medium to complex projects and participating as a team member on projects of moderate to complex scope. Needs e xcellent oral and written communication skills , the a bility to complete complex projects with limited supervision , d emonstrates professionalism and good judgment , and e xperience supporting applications in a 24x7 production environment a plus .

They are doing Service Layer coding, not GUI coding. They work from a very specific technical design. No room for developers that want to make major change to code .they have a very defined, documented process. Need to do their own Unit Testing. Need to take care of memory leaks. They work with outside vendor products such as a Check scanning product, OCR etc., so they look for candidates with experience with Software integration.


People from Fortune 500 cos. or accenture are good fit because they are used to methodology and documentation.


These people also have to pass extra security clearance. They do need to be citizens or GC holders with last 7 consecutive years in US.
