Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Firmware Engineer to develop and test Embedded C code. This is a contract to direct position in a North West suburb of Chicago.


Responsibilities will include:

Developing, debugging, and testing firmware

Implementing all modifications per departmental standards and procedures

Documenting code using version control

Testing designs and/or code under specifications and/or operational conditions

Preparing and evaluating system specifications


Required/Preferred:

BSCE, BSCS or BSEE

2-3 years of Embedded systems experience

Strong knowledge of C and Assembly

Excellent communications skills; the ability to multi-task

The ability to travel up to 10%

Experience with lighting and control systems preferred, but not required
