Job Description:

Laboratory Technologist - Quality and Food Safety Description:

Assist Quality & Food Safety Team in developing and sustaining the Client Plant Sensory Program.

- Taste & provide flavor/sensory expertise to client.

- Utilize consumer complaint data to determine corrective actions.

- Receive, log in, set up evaluations, and document results for product/ingredient evaluations.

- Organize and maintain lab equipment, supplies and storage of samples.

- Utilize Excel, Word, PowerPoint and electronic mail and the Internet for data and reporting.

Skills:

- Experience in food prep skills

- Previous tasting exp and sensory evaluation of food products, flavors, or ingredients

- Self Motivated, Independent worker

- Good interpersonal & organizational skills

- Ability to adapt to change quickly

Education/Experience:

- 4 Year Degree in Food Science

- Experience in Quality function, Sensory, or Consumer Relations/Affairs preferred


This position will be 20-30 hours a week. Candidates must be within a 25 mile radius of Barrington IL
