Our client a distinguished Chicago based manufacturer is searching for a SAP SD Sr. Functional Analyst. the Sr. Analyst will be responsible for configuration of SD and CS modules of SAP as well as supporting related business processes and end-user training. The Analyst will work closely with the clients internal customers/managers along with other IS team members working to provide business solutions.



Position Duties:
*Provide routine support to SD and CS module users
*Resolve Service Request tickets in accordance with agreed upon SLAs
*Respond to inquiries and/or issues
*Perform ad-hoc queries and requests for data
*Prepare end-user training. Conduct in-house training for end-users and team members on application specific functionality
*Work independently to complete enhancements and change orders by developing new and expanding upon existing solutions in the SD and CS modules
*Lead threads of projects and initiatives to deploy new functionality and/or enhance existing functionality
*Understand business processes and how underlying configuration and data supports or enables related processes
*Analyze, refine and document requirements as part of defined projects and initiatives.
*Recommend and configure solutions with a focus on providing business value
*Test and implement solutions. support and enhance solutions,
*Introduce Best Practice and process improvement where possible
*Train and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

*Bachelor degree or MBA
*Formal SAP training in SD or CS
*5-7 years experience in enterprise systems implementation
*5+ years SD and CS hands-on configuration experience (ECC 6.0 experience desired) and support of a live SAP production client
*At least 3 full cycle SAP implementation project with h ands-on project experience designing, testing and implementing SD and CS and solutions

Experience with Vertex and/or other tax packages required

*Experience with SAP-CRM desired
*Understanding of integration points of SD/CS with MM/PP/FI and other modules
*Ability to perform process decomposition, root cause analysis, gap analysis and blueprint definition
*Willingness to travel (on occasion) to remote company facilities
