Description




Duties:

*Monitor network for Voice and IP infrastructure
*Provide remote support for troubleshooting issues
*IP security isolation and mitigation
*Interface with customers to resolve issues
*Collect and log information
*Resolve trouble tickets

Requirements:

*10 years experience as communications technician
*Ability to perform T1 trouble isolation
*Working knowledge of voice communications including local and long distance traffic flows for both switched and dedicated access
*Working knowledge of data circuit types including MPLS, VoIP and integrated service
*Working knowledge of Turin networks of other DACS (DSC, Tellabs, Alcatel)
*Should have knowledge of Cisco, Lucent and Adtran equipment
*PRI, BRI and Voice grade services competency
*Solid knowledge of voice, data testing and ISP networks
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
**Must be willing to work third shift*
