This leading independent Book Publisher is looking for a Publicist to join their growing publicity team. This is an exciting opportunity for a multi-tasking individual with high energy, excellent organizational skills, and strong communication & leadership skills.


What you'll be doing:


- Creating and implementing publicity campaigns for our books and authors

- Developing and strengthening relationships with the media

- Securing national media for books and authors

- Proactively searching pitch topics based on news stories and trends

- Developing strong press releases, pitch letters and other promotional materials


What you'll need:


- At least 3-4 years experience in book publicity, and working knowledge of national media. Media contacts a plus.

- Creative thinking abilities, be self-motivated and capable of thinking strategically and following-through.

- Public Relations experience
