Description




Duties:



* Manage a team of Architects and provide technical assistance

* Define project scope and requirements

* Insure compliance with company standards

* Completion of projects on time including creation of database objects, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, database and application tuning, security, backup strategies and capacity planning

* Maintain Enterprise data model repository using Erwin Model Mart; publish data models on the web.

* Define tasks and design system architecture for new implementations

* Follow change management procedures between test, development, assurance and production environments

* Support development and production systems

* Assist developers with application design and performance tuning

* Staff management




Requirements:



* 10+ years experience with relational database design and administration

* Demonstrated experience with technical architecture design and development of enterprise-wide applications and databases

* Oracle experience required - emphasis on data modeling, analysis and deployment

* Erwin skills mandatory including Oracle 10g RAC

* 3-5 years minimum management/leadership experience

* Experience with design of large databases (100+ tables) and 2+TB

* Working knowledge of applications development in a distributed database environment

* Excellent communication skills

* BS Degree; Masters a plus
