Position Title Director, Enrollment Management Research

Description Columbia College Chicago is an urban institution of over 12,000 undergraduate and graduate students, emphasizing arts, media, and communications in a liberal arts setting. The Director of Enrollment Management Research conducts research and provides data, reports, and analyses to support undergraduate and graduate recruitment and marketing. This role also assists in the evaluation of the student experience at Columbia College Chicago. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the development of a research agenda to support student recruitment and marketing of the college's undergraduate and graduate programs; conducting research and analysis; preparing regular reports on a variety of topics, including enrollment projections, enrollment summaries, conversion rates reports, demographic trends, and student retention reports.; providing data and responding to a variety of external surveys; developing and reviewing the college's common data set; developing, administering, and reporting on a number of internal surveys such as the New Student Survey and the Graduating Student Survey; and responding to a variety of ad hoc requests regarding enrollment trends and histories, market analyses, competitor institutions, developing programs, etc.


To qualify, a Master's degree is required with a deep understanding of contemporary recruitment practices and admissions procedures. A minimum of two years' work experience in a college admissions or institutional research office is also required. Candidates should possess exceptional research skills with the ability to understand, utilize, and integrate data from many sources including institutional databases, census data, etc.
