Corona is a 7 yearsold 45 lb. female American Staffordshire Terrier waiting for the perfect home at Will County Humane Society. Corona lived in a neglectful home so she doesn't always know what it's like to be loved by her family. She enjoys the company of people but is not accustomed to sharing her space with other dogs or cats yet. She is working with a trainer to learn to socialize -- starting with male dogs. So, Corona is looking for an all adult foster or permanent home with patient dog lovers who are willing to continue her training. She is currently living in a foster home with Chicagoland Bullybreed Rescue. She is waiting for her forever home to come along! She is happily meeting other dogs on leash & in her foster home. She is curious & interested in all dogs & people. She is good with most all other dogs but due to her neglectful life, still learning how to play. She's generally friendly & calm. She loves ear rubs & belly rubs! She is passionate about being around people & thinks she is royalty so she'll be happy to show you how to treat her. Corona is house trained and crate trained, healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines , heart worm tested, treated for worms and fleas and micro chipped.
