American Staffordshire Terrier - Medium - Young - Male - Dog - B

Brutus is a two-year-old cutie who was kept chained up outside all the time. Two kind neighbors realized he wasn't being fed, so they fed him and convinced his owner to relinquish Brutus to them so they could try to find him a good home. Brutus was heartworm positive, of course, from living unprotected outside. He was treated for heartworm and now has a clean bill of health. Brutus is very people-friendly, but would probably do best in a home as an "only" pet. He is very strong and so, when he is outside to get fresh air and exercise, he needs a very secure pen or sturdily-fenced yard.
