Description
Spencer is a 1-1/2 year old handsome fawn boy being fostered in Wisconsin. He was found chained in a backyard , 70 pounds emaciated, sick and in poor condition. He was afraid of everything, tv, radio, stairs, wind, even leaves. He seems so grateful for love attention and a warm soft bed. He wags his tail for everyone a very sweet lovable boy. Spencer is very smart, tries hard to please and seems eager to learn. He wants to be with you every minute. He is excellent in the car and his crate. He often grabs a toy shakes it and runs to his crate (bed) to play with it. Spencer is now 115 pounds, still pretty thin has filling out to do. He has not been distructive at all however, when he bounces around the house in his playful puppy mode, I dont think he realized just how big he is. He is very content if some part of you is touching him, even just your hand on him. Spencer will need someone who giant breed experience and has time to spend and work with him. He has to much life in him to spend 8 hours everyday in a crate. He will be a wonderful loyal friend. He will need a fenced yard and children over 12 (only because of his size) He is coming along nicely with training on a lead and socializing, however he will need more training with lots of love and patience, just because of his size and power.
