Greyhound - Large - Young - Male - Dog - Billy
Description
Billy My name is Billy and I am 2, but not terrible. I have recently been diagnosed with epilepsy, which causes me to have seizures if not treated. My foster family is currently helping my doctor fine tune the dosage of my inexpensive medicine so that I can have a long, happy, seizure-free life. My situation may not suit everyone, but if you are looking for a lovable boy who needs someone special to love him back, then I may be the one for you. In return for your love, I will give lots of dog kisses if you let me. American Greyhound is a not-for-profit adoption group dedicated to finding homes for retired racing greyhounds. All adoption applications are thoroughly screened prior to approval. We request a $185.00 adoption donation, which includes spaying or neutering, vaccinations brought up to date, teeth cleaned if necessary, parasite check and treatment as indicated (although we cannot guarantee complete freedom from parasites) and choice of safety collar and matching leash. American Greyhound uses a network of volunteer foster homes where the dogs live in a family environment while they wait to be adopted. This helps each dog acclimate to living in a house where they learn about things like house manners, stairs, windows, other pets, etc. New foster families are always welcome and much needed. Please visit our website at www.americangreyhound.org to learn more about these wonderful dogs or to print out an adoption application. We have new dogs coming in frequently, so be sure to check back often.
