Rhodesian Ridgeback - Medium - Adult - Female - Dog - Nikki
Description
Nikki is a pretty and shy seven-year-old Ridgeback/Pit Bull-mix looking for a loving home. Nikki was rasised at a food-testing facility in Kankakee, Illinois. She lived in a dog run and lacked socialization and training - along with about 200 other dogs and cats. My understanding is that when the company moved to St Charles, Missouri, they had the choice of re-homing, or euthanizing Luckily a trainer came along willing to work with her, and try to re-home her. Nikki is crate-trained and walks well on leash. She has been working with a trainer since December to help adjust to life outside the testing facility. Although shy, she is doing well with people, and still has a hard time trusting other dogs so she is looking for a home as the only pet. Nikki is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. She is looking for a home where someone has time to continue her training, give her plenty of exercise.
