RANCHERO IS A SURVIVOR OF A HOARDING SITUATION WHO CAME OUT OF THE SAD PAST WITH AN UNBROKEN SPIRIT AND DESERVES A GREAT FUTURE!!!This gentle, sweet boy lived for 6 years in a small wire outdoor run, fed by kindly neighbors, until a good Samaritan called Humane Investigators andhe was saved. Ranchero was one of 23 dogs that was rescued on a bitterly cold night this past January. Since that time Ranchero has thrived in his foster home. He get along FAMOUSLY with his foster canines. He lavished attention and kisses on his human family. Ranchero is neat and respectful of his indoor home. He always comes when he is called as well. He loves playing with his many toys !! His old neighbors reported that his only "toy" in his previous life was the occasional plastic bag that would blow into his enclosure. Ranchero deserves to have a special, loved filled life after all he has gone through, especially since his wonderful spirit was never broken. Ranchero is up to date on all of his shots and his adoption fee is $175. Donations above and beyond that assists Underdog with other rescues that have more urgent and severe medical needs. Ranchero also qualifies for our Underdog Rescue senior to senior discount for senior citizens that adopt a senior rescue pet. ALL UNDERDOG RESCUE DOGS ARE: spayed or neutered, up to date on rabies, bordetella and a combination distemper/parvovirus vaccination, dewormed and flea treated. They also are MICROCHIPPED with a HomeAgain chip, preferred by veterinarians because it does not tend to migrate within the dog's body, it can be read by any type of scanner and, with registration, comes with free, ONE YEAR insurance in case your dog is injured while lost.ADOPTION 1-2-3: To apply to adopt Ranchero: 1) Email Debbie at kruegerd@speakeasy.net or call 847-362-3056. 2) We will send you an adoption application which can be emailed back. 3) After reference checks, we'll make an appointment with you and the rest of the household for a meeting, and if the match proves to be right, you can bring your new pet home.
