ARODO OPERATOR-MECHANIC-SETUP TECHNICIAN (2ndand 3rdshifts)
MAPEI Corp., a leading manufacturer of chemical products for floor installation products seeks a qualified HFFS (Arodo) Automated Packaging Operator-Mechanic-Setup Technician (2nd/3rdshifts) for our West Chicago, IL facility.
The Automated Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for the daily Operation, Setup, Maintenance, Adjustment and Repair of horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS) manufacturing and automated packaging equipment.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Makes machine adjustmentsas necessary to ensure optimum speed and quality of bag filling operation.
* Performs setup and startupprocedures as per production schedule.
* Performspreventive and/or emergency maintenance on HFFS.
* Troubleshootsand performsnecessary repairs on HFFSwith assistance on more complex tasks.

Requirements/Skills:


* 2 years experience with FFS equipment or automated manufacturing equipment a strong plus.
*
* Ability to trouble shoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment
* Knowledge of pneumatics.
* Good problem solving skills.
* Ability to use and interpret test and measuring equipment.
* Must read, speak and write English.
* Shift work and some weekend work required.Electrical and mechanical knowledge, skills and aptitude,
