EMERGENCY SERVICES TECHNICIAN
SUMMARY:
To assist in the requirements of Paul Davis Restoration of DuPage County to deliver exceptional emergency and restoration services.
Reporting Relationship
This position reports directly to the owner who also provides work direction and training.
Hours of Duty
A typical shift for this position is eight hours. Hours of duty are 8:00AM to 5:00PM,
Monday through Friday. Flexible hours required for position.
IICRC Certifications for Emergency Mitigation Technician
Emergency Services Technicians must obtain IICRC or have certifications in the following categories:
• Water Restoration Technician
• ASD
• Fire & Smoke Technician
• Applied Microbial Remediation a plus
Responsibilities/Tasks
• Performs any and all directives from the owner.
• Responds to emergency losses.
• Performs Emergency Water Extraction and Drying Services.
• Assists in Emergency Fire/Smoke Services (including deodorization, boardups
and securing structure).
• Assists in Mold Remediation (including demolition and cleaning).
• Performs on-call rotation as needed.
• Able to lift at least 75 pounds.
• Able to work in confined spaces.
• Able to work around a variety of chemicals without any adverse reaction or sensitivity.
• Follows established safety practices including the proper use of PPE when required.
• Participate in the collection process
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
* High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e. GED)
One (1) year experience in WRT, ASD.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES:
Valid Drivers License. Must be maintained for the duration of the assignment.
Copy of driving history issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles at time of application
or Qualified
