DescriptionWireless construction PM/Chicago market Job Description:

TEKsystems is working with a client in Chicago that is approaching a new technology launch date for their sites in the Chicago market. They have roughly 1000 sites that need to be built or modified in order for them to meet their coverage plan. Of those, 2/3 are overlay or modifications. Focus up until recently has been on site acquisition, so the team is tilted in that area. Construction "centric" people are needed for this phase and in order to round out the team.


We are seeking individuals with experience in wireless site project management to join this team for a period of five to six months to join the site development group at our client. The construction PM will be carrier's representative in the field overseeing the full time employees and General contractors work is being done on time and to specification.


With that and candidate to be considered must have experience wireless site construction management where it pertains to

--site walks for Quality control / site audits

--overseeing punch list work

--managing timelines

--tracking milestones

--overseeing vendor / GC field personnel

--reporting progress to back office

--reviewing drawings


Client is willing to consider intermediate level PMs, or those with 1-2 years in wireless construction PM work


Once identified; the next step is a personal interview with the client hiring manager.


If hired, the successful candidate will begin a salaried contract with TEKsystems at the carrier. This contract will include a set amount per week, plus 3 paid sick days and paid holidays.


Local candidates are greatly preferred as TEKsystems cannot offer relocation.
