For sale: Lovely HAND EMBROIDERED counted cross stitch picture in a design patterned after the American Girl Kirsten Doll wearing her vintage pinafore birthday dress & flower wreath in her hair. This picture is finished & mounted in a beautiful antique SOLID OAK frame that originally belonged to my Grandmother. A picture wire is mounted on the back for hanging.

I embroidered this picture over 15 years ago to hang in my daughter's room, as she had the Kirsten doll. This counted crossstitch design was done on white 14 count Aida cloth. (A closeup of the design can be seen in the 2nd picture.) The actual picture size is 7-1/2" x 9-1/2" inches. The inside dimension of the oak wood frame is 8" x 10" and the overall or outside dimensions are 11-3/8" wide x 13-1/4" inches high. (A close up of the frame molding, which has been beautifully stained & finished in a medium red oak color, can be seen in the 3rd picture.) I have been doing counted cross stitch work for over 30 years & consider myself quite proficient at it, so I think you will see that this is a high quality handmade piece.
