6.6 Liter. 4 Wheel Disc Brakes. WS6 Package. FRESH RESTORATION!!! Paint and body is absolutely gorgeous, it is a 2008 GM indigo blue. The body is laser straight, and lines up nicely. The car was stripped down to bare metal and got 3 thick coats primer, 7 coats paints and 3 coats of clear. I started out with a very clean body to begin with. This Trans Am was a show car in the late 80's though the late 90's and garage kept. Doors do not sag. Brand new hinges and pins installed a few months ago. Comp Engineering frame connectors have been installed by the previous owner. All new seals and weather stripping were put in a few months ago. Also all new correct GM decals on the body. Blue screamin' chicken, and T/A letters etc. Interior is the standard black vinyl, renewed and cleaned up nicely with in last few months. This car is heavily loaded with options. It has power windows, power locks, tilt steering column, guage package, power antenna, new sony cd player, rear defrost, also has a B&M Quicksilver shifter. The car was A/C equipted but the unit was taken out a long time ago. Engine is a 6.6 Liter 403 Olds. Freshly rebuilt Summer 2008. All new gaskets, pushrods, Edelbrock performance intake, new valve covers, and a rebuilt Holley carb. It runs smooth, and packs plenty of power, backed up by a 3.08 posi rear, and a TH400 auto transmission, with a B&M shift kit. Car is very nicely detailed underneath. The Trans Am has brand new 17x9, and 16x8 Cragar S/S wheels on brand new hankook tires. Has a magnaflow dual exhaust that gives the car a mean sound, especially at idle. This is one hell of a 1979 Trans Am that is a real head turner and jaw dropper. Just needs a new driver, and a good home! Turn the key and go cruising
