Pouncer is a wonderful nine year old cat who was relinquished into Windy City Rescues care when her previous family lost their home to foreclosure. You may think that a nine year old might not have much spunk left in her, but Pouncer would prove you wrong! She has a few toys that she loves playing with, and she loves people! While reading a book, she will calmly sit next to you and be happy with intermittent petting. To her, theres nothing better in the world than snuggling with her family in bed at night. If youre looking for a laid-back cat who is low maintenance but still affectionate, Pouncer is the cat for you! Currently, Pouncer is in a foster home that has other cats, and shed really prefer to be an only cat or only with kittens. To put her in the best possible situation for her, wed love to hear from you if you would also like to take her in as a foster if you have no other animals living with you. Likewise, we will be evaluating potential forever homes based on how many other animals there are. She can tolerate other low-key animals, but only if they ignore her most of the time.
