Private Drum and Percussion Instruction available in a private studio with Meg Thomas. Study technique, different styles, traditional patterns, music reading, grooves, rudiments, application to live musical settings, coordination exercises, basic history of the instrument, maintenance of the instrument. Instruments you can study are (but not limited to): Congas, Drum Set, Bongos, Snare Drum, Djembe, Timbales, as well as others. Some group lessons are available. Meg has 10 plus years teaching and performance experience as well as a Music Degree and is a member of the Vic Firth Drumstick and Mallet Company as a Vic Firth Private Drum Teacher.
