to move home to SWEET HOME CHICAGO!!!!

I am a single, mid-aged woman WITH disabilities and a dog. (My dog is my family!!!!) He is very well behaved and LOVABLE!

My dog is very therapeutic to me. He gets me out of my apartment!
I mean I would just lie here if it weren't for my dog. I can NOT handle
Lake County any more as there is NO public transportation. I just MISS
the city. I feel like Lake County will be the death of me if I do NOT get
out of here. I have also found that I am allergic to my apartment, and I can NO longer operate the windows! I am just not happy here in Lake County any longer! My voucher is for a one bedroom, but I am hoping to find a two bedroom for I would like to have a computer room.
I know that I have portability. I would LOVE to be able to afford Lincoln Park, but I am pretty sure that that would not be possible!

I WOULD LIKE TO FEEL SAFE!!!! I prefer a second floor for safety purposes, but I can NOT climb a whole lot of stairs!
Just PLEASE, if anyone knows AS TO WHERE I SHOULD START...

My lease is up on February 1, 2010!
