I am looking for a rental home or apt(2bedrooms or more-need space for home office and clothing storage) relocated to the city from western suburbs, staying with family for a few months.

While currently looking for places to rent I found out I have an eviction, I contacted the "company" and I begin payment arrangements on this-this month(September). It was due to a room mate situation. I can afford the rent and the security no problem(under $800) and I do have landlords that I can refer to about me for the past years (after the eviction). I work for the third largest software development company in the world. I have been going through the process of fixing my credit because I eventually want to own property myself.
The reason for me being upfront is 1) I believe in honesty, 2) I do not want to pay numerous application fees and knowingly I will not be approved, or even have a chance.
I have copies of all 3 of my credit reports(creditkeeper.com), because I need to get somewhere stable to fix them, I do not mind paying for a credit check, but please save me the headache of what I am already telling and showing you. I've paid almost $300 in fees and still NO rental.
If this can be taken into consideration I do not mind meeting with you, and talking further. If not I do not want to waste your time which is why I am being completely honest before hand, and I do completely understand.
