DescriptionInventory Specialist Job Description:

A large telecommunications customer of ours is looking for an Inventory Specialist for one of their Chicagoland locations.


This person will be responsible for providing support to the network field groups in the area. These functions include shipping and receiving of inventory, receiving invoices for payment, creating purchase orders and ordering of office supplies. In addition they will maintain records for cell sites by building site lists and contact numbers for work groups and providing updates as required. The groups this person will interact with will include the NOC, AP, Purchasing, IT etc.


Looking for candidates with 2-3 years of experience within a network organization. Must be highly proficient utilizing Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Power point and related Windows based software. Any experience with Peoplesoft (purchasing system) is a plus. Candidates will working from 8am-5pm however will need to be flexible during peak work times.
