We are seeking a financial anayst for our managed solutions division.
Develops, interprets, and implements complex financial concepts or techniques for financial planning and control by performing the following duties: Planning & LE’s – Meeting with appropriate personnel in order to determine requirements and/or changes for annual budget, monthly rolling forecast, and quarterly LE’s; generate P&L’s, charts, and other schedules; Run various scenarios and comparisons for review. Follow-up with appropriate personnel regarding discrepancies for both manufacturing and operating expenses. Follow-up with revenue manager and key personnel from Operations to incorporate any changes in production and shipment schedules. Month & Quarter-End (Operating Expenses) - Generate DER variance reports; review expenses with appropriate personnel; product monthly and quarterly GM schedules and P&L’s; Analyze and explain expense variances and GM variances at a detailed level. Operations/Cost Analysis – Generate monthly KPI dashboard for Operations; work with key personnel in operations to understand changes in metrics; Generate Capacity Model as needed; meet with department manger to review stated capacities; meet with appropriate personnel to understand changes in capacity related to new equipment, process changes, and product mix changes; review labor and overhead expenses and how they are being distributed to specific products; work with cost accounting on periodically reviewing and adjusting distribution.
Skills Required.
Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of work experience in Finance/Financial Analysis. PC literate with excellent proficiency in office application software particularly advanced Excel, Hyperion, and Business Objects. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships, and to interact with upper management. Able to work independently with minimum supervision with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines.
