Based in Lincolnshire, IL, a growing and reputable underwriting company is looking to add on additional Underwriters! Due to success and relationship building, they have several open positions! If you are a Mortgage Underwriter with Secondary Underwriting and Residential Mortgage experience, please read on!


Responsibilities:

- Underwrite mortgage loan applications and evaluate loans that maximize organizational profit and minimize risk or loss.

- Review title and deed documentation to verify appropriate vesting and ownership interest and appropriate lien history.

- Work with quality control and team leads to complete projects on job level issues, including reviewing data discrepancies.

- Monitor property appraisal process.


Must have skills:

- Must have at least 2 years mortgage underwriting experience

- Ability to work in fast paced environment with consistent productivity while maintaining a high level of quality, accuracy and professionalism

- Must have experience underwriting for secondary markets
