Our client, a large company that offers a dynamic company culture and excellent benefits, is seeking an Accounting Manager. Responsibilities:


Responsibilities encompass a full range of general accounting functions incorporated into managing the monthly close-to-reporting cycle, including monthly journal entries, financial statement preparation and review, balance sheet account analysis, equity accounting, option accounting and other high visibility accounts. Other responsibilities will include financial reporting to senior management, the annual audit report, financial system administration, budgeting and forecasting, purchase accounting, and developing procedures, controls and best practices. This position reports to the Assistant Controller.


Experience Required:


Qualified individuals will have a BA/BS in accounting, at least 8 years of progressive general accounting experience, a strong knowledge of GAAP, experience with month/year end closes, and proficiency with MS Office applications in a Windows environment with heavy emphasis using Excel. Candidates with a CPA and/or MBA with a mix of public and private experience preferred. Financial systems expertise and project management skills are also a plus. Successful candidates must possess strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, excellent communication skills and a desire to contribute to the overall success of the accounting and finance organization. Successful candidates will also be motivated, self-starters who thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
