DescriptionBusiness Analyst-ERP Job Description:

TEKsystems is seeking a Sr. Level Business Analyst who has strong experience with multiple ERP implementations. It is crucial that this person is senior level BA with 7-10 years of ERP implementation experience and understands the dynamics associated with these implementations. The client is not interested in candidates with less than 7 years of experience. The client has requested that this person has a strong finance and accounting background which includes A/P, A/R, Procurement, and Inventory. A Finance or Accounting degree is a big plus. This opportunity is a 6 month contract to hire and the client is not interested in candidates who do not want to convert to full time.


The client is looking to add this person to assist with the implementation of their new ERP system. The group that this person will work in is the finance group which consists of 20 people. This person will have responsibility for all finance related business requirements associated with this project. It is important that this person possesses an energetic personality as they will be working with a group that consists of the CIO, Controller, and IT Director. The client believes that this role will evolve into a finance team lead by 2010.


On a day to basis this person will meet with individuals and project teams as well as gathering the required information for the Finance portion of the project. Outside of these meetings they will spend time documenting their findings, creating test cases, specs, configuration, and in the lab doing model testing. This role will be more functional than technical however, this person needs to have a strong technical background to be able to direct the implementation of the new ERP system and understand the system as a whole. Experience with Sarbanes Oxley controls is a must.
