OUR CLIENT IS SEEKING A CANDIDATE WITH 5+ YEARS OF YELLOW BOOK REPORTING EXPERIENCE. THIS IS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY THAT OFFERS LOTS OF ROOM FOR PROMOTION AND UPWARD MOBILITY IN A DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT. THE COMPANY IS DOING WELL FINANCIALLY AND THRIVING.


This position is responsible for supporting all accounting activities associated with the close and consolidation of the Companys consolidated financial statements for the North American entities of the business unit for their foreign-based parent. Reviews and ensures compliance for various accounting processes in support of the close.


Key Responsibilities & Duties:


Prepares monthly financial statements and annual statements on statutory (yellow book), US GAAP and IFRS bases of accounting.

Coordinates the preparation of the financial reporting

Perform pooling transactions and inter-company eliminations

Monitor monthly legal entity close submission activities

Perform foreign currently accounting for domestic reporting and reporting to our Euro-based parent.

Identify and recommend modifications to existing workflow or resource allocations

Ability to prioritize responsibilities and processes


Job Requirements:


Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CPA or equivalent years of experience required

5+ years of relevant experience (with yellow book reporting)

Extensive knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and Statutory/GAAP accounting; knowledge of IFRS accounting a plus
