Description An almost $1B multinational distributor and logistics solutions provider in the greater Chicago area is searching for a lead tax professional for their Income Tax team. The title will be either director or manager of income tax.



The company is growing and is looking to expand their tax department by adding this newly created position.



The tax group is small right now and will require someone that is open to doing a lot of the "hands-on work". This manager will work in the trenches for compliance but will also be responsible for the provisions, planning and audits. After hiring appropriate people under him/her the manager will eventually focus more on strategy and management.





As the income tax manager this person will be responsible for Federal, International and State and Local income taxes as well as the management of the teams corresponding employees.



Salaries are based on experience and proven performance.

Requirements Requirements:



* BA in Accounting or Finance
* MST preferred but not necessary
* CPA necessary
* 5+ years of tax experience within income
* 1+ year of management experience
